![]() ![]() Next I put it in my vice (which I'll admit might have been a tad overkill but I wanted to be as careful as possible), grabbed my dremel tool and cut a hole out as neatly as I could. I grabbed a small piece of painters tape and a pencil, taped over the microsd slot, used the pencil to trace an outline of the slot, then put the tape on the inside of the back plate. ![]() Why would I wanna download something from my 3DS at around 300 KBps when I have a USB 3.0 card reader? ![]() However I had a huge pet peeve with the system, and that was having to remove the back plate to get to the SD card.Īnd I get that the New 3DS XL has built in wireless transfer and there's a ton of FTP apps I could use but the file transfer speeds on this thing are abysmal. I'm a big guy with big hands and I also enjoy my SNES games so this system is a natural all around winner for me So I got this system a bit over a week ago as an upgrade over my old 3DS.
